Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services booked through The Kishores (operated by Himanshu Kishore, Delhi, India), including payments made via our payment gateway partner, Razorpay.
1. Before work begins
Full refund. If you cancel before we begin any work on your project — i.e. before campaign setup, design, editing or development has started — you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid.
To request a cancellation at this stage, email hello@thekishores.in or message us on WhatsApp (+91 87620 79007) with your order/payment reference. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of the request being confirmed.
2. Once work has started
No refund. Once we have started work on your project — including but not limited to ad account setup and campaign configuration, video editing, design work, or website/development work — fees paid for that engagement are non-refundable, as they represent time, resources and any third-party costs already committed on your behalf.
If you wish to stop an ongoing engagement partway, you may terminate per the notice terms in our Terms & Conditions; any already-delivered milestones or work completed up to that point are payable and non-refundable, and no refund is due for that portion of the engagement.
3. Retainer / recurring services
For monthly retainer engagements (e.g. ongoing ad management, social media management), each billing cycle's fee becomes non-refundable once that cycle's work has begun. You may cancel future billing cycles at any time with the notice period agreed at signup (typically 15–30 days); we will not charge for cycles after the effective cancellation date.
4. Third-party / ad spend costs
Amounts spent on third-party ad platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.) on your behalf are governed by those platforms' own refund/billing policies and are not refundable by us once spent. Our service fee for managing that spend follows the policy above.
5. Payment failures & duplicate charges
If a payment fails but funds are deducted, or you're charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error, contact us with your payment reference and we will investigate with Razorpay and issue a refund for any confirmed duplicate/erroneous charge within 7–10 business days.
6. How to request a refund
- Email hello@thekishores.in or WhatsApp +91 87620 79007 with your name, payment reference/date, and reason for the request.
- We'll confirm eligibility per this policy within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay within 7–10 business days of approval.

8. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
